The Department of Accounting is committed to the advancement and dissemination of knowledge.

Our academic staff publish research that develops, tests or advances accounting theories and practice. We have a critical mass of research-active staff in a number of key areas of the discipline, who contribute to the research profile of the Department. Significant resources are allocated to support these contributions.

We also foster strong international alliances through the appointment of eminent visiting scholars, joint research grants and active research programs.
